The things you need for this recipe are organic ground turmeric, quercetin powder and ground black pepper. For binding, you can use either ghee or coconut oil or raw honey as per your choice.

The recipe can be easily prepared and it will not take much of your time.

  • Just take a baking sheet and line it with a parchment paper. Also, make sure that the freezer tray in your refrigerator is free to refrigerate the turmeric bombs once they are prepared.
  • Choose any of the binding agents mentioned earlier. If your choice is honey, just heat it slightly such that it will be somewhat watery and not thick. You should heat it to get it into liquid consistency. The same thing should be done when you choose ghee or coconut oil and make sure that the binding agent is not too hot and just warm.
  • Then, mix turmeric, pepper and quercetin powder along with binding agent. The mixture with honey will be thick in the form of a dough that can be pinched for making balls by rolling between your palms before placing on the baking sheet. If you have used oil or ghee, it will be watery and you will have to use a spoon to pour it on the baking sheet.
  • Then, place the balls on to the freezer, until the balls turns out to be firm and then place them in a storage container.

You can take these balls as and when needed. But, make sure that you do not overdose on them. You can take them on days in which you have heavy meals as the digestive process will speed up to prevent upset stomach due to heavy oil-based recipes.
